Following an alien agent sent to Earth to examine a murder— a couple killing a greengrocer to clear their debt—Radius Catastrophe الأرض المستباحة maps Lebanon’s Northside coastline. The agent’s search for evidence expands into an inquiry into the region’s slow violence, ecological collapse, and industrial decay. As direct causality breaks down, the investigation reveals a marginalized landscape shaped by systemic neglect and economic desperation. What begins as a crime report becomes a broader study of a place where human and industrial forces intersect, exposing the structural conditions that make violence an embedded part of daily survival.

Red in Tooth follows the drive towards the Wazzani River along the UN enforced Blue Line in the south of Lebanon. This trip questions the notion of freedom on the open road when borders are so violently enforced. Wild animals lead the way as they traverse the landscape taking us into their elsewhere realms. This wild body constantly gathers and processes the interventions ravaging their surrounding ecology; then in its judgement releases its ferociousness, and stands as a force against Human despotism.&#38;nbsp;

Red In Tooth was conceived through sporadic road trips over the course of three months back an forth to the South&#38;nbsp;of Lebanon. Bordering Lebanese and Palestenian territories, the wall was buil by Israeli occupation forces as a separatist gesture. The wall does not only reflect a politics of inaccessibility, but renders the surrounding environment uninviting to the locals, as well lends it as a territory for local resistance forces.

The video documents the road trip, the stretch of wall, the wazzani river - which flows between bot countries and which the local part was used for an illegal irrigation system by the same occupational forces.

Directed by Dala Nasser, this work was a closely intimate collaboration between Nasser, myself and
artist/architect/sound engineer Mohamed Safa. After extensive discussions we closely built the structure and conceptualized an aesthetic that allows us to freely input each their own appropriate understanding of the concerns raised in the film. Animation was done by architect/visual researcher Sabine Saba who conceived of the blue line as a separatist strip that, like a river, acts as a natural divider between lands. Additionally, trap camera footage and land location tracking were achieved with the help of Jawad Al Amin.

The Flood is a short essay film narrating the despondent dwellings of Hatem - based on a research with a real person - a man who used his small boat to transport people from shore to cargo ships in order to escape Lebanon. Secrecy molds the morbid drifting of Hatem, a man who works in privacy and lives his life accordingly. He hides more than he tells, clouding himself in a reclusive state of seclusion and indignation.

"Hackers of Borders” is a tale of resilience, an intimate mosaic of beings representing the multiplicity 
and complexity of the future of humanity at a time when displaced populations around the world are 
no more than statistics and stereotyped figures through the media and politicians.What is the documentary 
cinema if not giving a face to those whose image is frozen in the imaginary? For us they are refugees. 
But how do they see themselves? Basically, the question of Hackers of Borders is: who am I? 
Who am I if I'm born stateless, if I can't remember my homeland, if I can't make my dream come true, 
if I can't choose my sexual identity, if I can't be buried with dignity?"

Yabandjo is a documentary-essay investigating the remnants of a traumatic past in bodies consumed 
by history as an uncertain future looms over the landscapes they inhabit. Landscapes that are in the 
process of being transformed into what will no longer be recognized by the present, where the camera intervenes to document that which will soon be no more. The landscapes of Anjar, a small town in rural 
Lebanon only a few miles from the Syrian border and inhabited by ethnic Armenians where the ordinary 
and the uncanny meet in a border community in transition haunted by a dark past and an unknown future.
