a thin soft layer of is the story of Najib, who struggles to end his days, to meet his girlfriend
whose current connection with is limited to phone calls and who drifts aimlessly around the
city of Beirut. He keeps busy by watching the video works produced by his students, as he
deviates internally from the world around him.
